My first time in Austria

My first time in Austria dates back to 2003. It was the middle of August and I was finally able to enjoy a much deserved vacation. Having already been to the sea, my girlfriend and I decided to try a vacation in the mountains.
This site was very useful for finding a place: http://www.eurocampings.net, don’t be fooled by the name, even though is mainly talks about camping, you can also find apartments and/or bungalows for rent.
That’s how we set out for the Otzaler valley, you can read more info on Wikipedia, even if it’s in German, you can see some pictures and a map of the towns that we visited.
Starting from Bologna, the fastest street goes through “Passo del Rombo”. It was a very strange experience! I’ve never seen such a zigzagged street, full of hairpin turns! but once arrived at the top, the panoramic view can’t really be equaled… look at the photo on the side to chase away any doubts!
