A Caribbean vacation is a great way to bring the family together for some quality time, and there’s no better place to do it than on the islands of The Caribbean. So many people think that a cheap Caribbean vacation is impossible, but this couldn’t be further from the truth with so many discounted Caribbean vacation packages now available.
A Caribbean vacation is close to home, it’s warm all year, the trade winds are gentle, and each island is unique in it’s own way. Prices are considerably higher during these winter months, too, when a discount Caribbean vacation is virtually unknown. A Caribbean vacation is great for beach lovers and sun worshippers, of course; that’s what the Caribbean is best-known for.
Naturally a big part of any Caribbean vacation is the dining experience. One of the most stress-free and relaxing ways to enjoy a Caribbean vacation is aboard a cruise ship. Packing for a Caribbean vacation is a lot like packing for any other tropical destination: bringing protection from the sun and heat is key. The only hard part about a Caribbean vacation is deciding which island to visit.

The curious image below is the sign of a local pub in Triberg , a town in the heart of the bavarian Black Forest famous for its cuckoo clocks (I’ll talk more extensively about it soon). The text on the sign below, translated sounds more or less like “the cuckoo clock room”. Quite bizarre

When we’re on vacation in the mountains (whether in Austria or Germany) our typical day adjusted to fit their rhythm: which is to get up early in the morning at 7 and to go to bed early as well (usually around 10:30).
The thing that really upsets our Italian habits the most is the eating schedule. If for lunch the time varies from noon to one thirty (two o’clock is already late), the evening is when you risk having the door slammed in your face if you’re thinking about going to eat at a restaurant at 9pm!
In fact, dinner begins at 5:30-6 (I’m not joking) and finishes at 8-8:30 at the latest. But if you arrive at a restaurant at 8:30 it’s likely that they will tell you that the kitchen is already closed!
That clearly goes for somewhat small towns, in case you find yourself Vienna, Salzburg, or Monaco you can find something open easier, but if you’re used to eating at 10pm you’ll have trouble even here…!
