Monte Adone is located in the beginning of “Appennino Bolognese” (mountains south of Bologna). It is very close to the main town of Bologna, just a few km, and it’s still a relatively quiet place. We started to climb upon it from a place called “Badolo”.

As you can see the path is narrow and steep, and in some points you have a ravine just on your side: so it is recommended only to people who don’t have vertigo!

The sight is wonderful as you can see. A pity that day there was a bit of mist, but in any case you can see how high we are!

Pictured above instead a uninvited guest we med along the road… I even managed to take a portrait of this curious lizard!

At last we were on top - were we could admire those curious rock shapes. I don’t know their origins, but still they look cool!

In this other pictures you can see them better. Really weird! seems like someone made them on purpose

I just realized I never put online any pictures of my dogs… let’s start with Artù, which should be of the race of yorkshire (at least I think, I’m not an expert). In the picture above, in a rare moment of relax during one of our trips in Austria. Even if he is smelling the nice flavour of a sandwich made with speck and emmental, so isn’t really so relaxed…!

Yes you read it right… in the Black Forest, Germany, nearby the town of Triberg (that can be considered the home of the cuckoo clocks) there’s a man that made of his own house (typical bavarian style) a sort of giant cuckoo clock, so big that (listening to his own words) it is the biggest of the world…!
Indeed, as you can see looking at the picture below, it is very big!

As always, the style is really wonderful…with red flowers hanging everywhere around the walls. We stood there waiting to see the big bird coming out from the door…

and there it is! to be honest in the picture you can’t see it very well, and he was even making a crap sound. Yes, honestly it didn’t impress us very much, we started to laugh more than else!
Anyway… if you happen to travel nearby Triberg, might be worth a visit!
