I have one called “Nick, pictured in the photo above. The only real problem is when they sleep: they snore very loudly, almost more than a man! But is enough not let them enter your bedroom!

Took this picture while I was on a short trip in the natural park of “Cinque Terre”, in the italian region of Liguria. It is at the same time quite fun and bizarre, because of the skull in center of the icon above what is a church entrance! yes exactly, that is a closeup of a church entrance in a small town (I forgot the name, not sure if was Monterosso or Manarola).

I don’t know latin well but from what I can understand the text says something like “guild of prayers and deaths”! very scary…!

The photo above shows again my 2 dwarf rabbits, when they were very young. You can clearly see one on top of the other, in a typical dominant position! we thought that getting 2 rabbit was better instead of only 1, but was a mistake, because the dominant one progressively started to attack the other, until we were forced to separate them.

Anyway the picture I took is quite funny in my opinion, so that’s why I posted it here

The day is sunny, beautiful, already from the morning. The air is fresh, clear. The sky is deep blue and not a single cloud on sight: a climate particularly good considering that recently we got used to semi-tropical heat here in Italy…!

So we decided to take a day off, to explore some mountains nearby. Once again our starting point was “Passo della Cappelletta”, that connects Emilia Romagna with Liguria.

Once we arrived there, the view was incredible… I have no words to describe it, and I hope that the photos can at least give you a vague idea of what beautiful day it was. We took the official path that leads to Mount Gottero, even if we didn’t manage to reach the top because of time constraints.

Of course the cows aren’t missing even this time. They add a “bavarian” touch to the landscape. If I didn’t know, I could even be thinking to be really in Austria or Bavary. We even met another group of escursionists during our trip, very unusual for those places.

Just before heading back home I have time to take some funny pictures… a really weird shaped tree. It seems almost an enormous mouth, with a nose!

The picture above is of my dwarf rabbit, lionhead race, that I had some years ago. Unfortunately now she passed to better life, but I remember all the great moments I spent with her. She always had funny poses, like the one pictured above, and in general was lovely and cute. Still,I wouldn’t recommend you get a dwarf rabbit (or more) unless you live in a house with a garden, or you can dedicate one entire room to them.

Why? because they like to eat everything they can find! they like to crunch wood (imagine all the doors, cabinets, desks, etc) but also the power cables (surprisingly they don’t remain killed but they can cut the power off of your house!).

So as you can see, isn’t an easy task to have one of those furry creatures around the house. Still if you live in a good place, they could be a pleasant addition to your pet friends
